As a globally-minded believer, you’re aware of the mounting obstacles to sharing the gospel in many places which are closed or hostile to Christianity. Increasingly, the best and, perhaps, only hope is to shine the love of Jesus by launching missional business ventures in local communities. And in today’s data-connected world, maintaining a business visa requires a fully functioning and profitable venture.
The Lord is using the modern yet thoroughly biblical power of Business and Mission (BAM) to radically change lives and communities–even in the midst of poverty, persecution and war. MDE resources and equips each BAM venture member to truly make money (maximizing growth and sustainability) and to intentionally make disciples (maximizing Kingdom impact) in the hardest places in the world.
In recent years, MDE has received more requests from missional entrepreneurs than we’ve been able to support. That is all changing. We are excited to now be making significant investments in our ministry operations to maximize MDE’s growth and outreach potential for 2023 and beyond. With your help and with the Lord’s blessing we plan to:
- Increase our membership of missional entrepreneurs on the field by 200% or more within three years,
- Serve these ventures as they provide well-paying and redemptive employment opportunities for hundreds of local citizens in very hard and unreached places,
- Create ready-to-use business models to simplify and accelerate the launching of new missional businesses, and
- Establish MDE as a fully self-funded ministry through venture membership fees within three years
Countries are reopening their borders (after COVID) and welcoming properly-equipped business people who can bring real value to their local communities. This creates a window of opportunity for MDE to help launch and support many more BAM ventures in 2023.
