On March 8, 2025, the MDE community came together for The Gathering, a one-day event held in Indianapolis that focused on the incredible impact and importance of volunteers within the organization. Volunteers are indeed MDE’s secret sauce.

The event offered valuable networking opportunities, showcased practical applications of skills through the Plan Bee business model exercise, and allowed for interaction with CEO Herbert Severins.

Inspired by the insights gained at the event, many attendees gained direction regarding their potential volunteer role within MDE. We are grateful that MDE’s pool of expert volunteers is expanding!
