In the April 2024 newsletter, we communicated the vision for our second decade of Business and Mission and introduced our notion of MDE 2.0: Our motivation comes from the fact that the global good-news-gap is growing, countries are even less open to traditional missions, and global business is now the unreached world’s lingua franca. Surging needs and unprecedented opportunities. The faithful stewardship of MDE demands our diligence in planning and preparing for the next 10 years. Leadership, during any period of change or growth, is essential. The board and staff are preparing the organization now for the next generation of leaders that the Lord will call.
We are very excited to announce our next major stride towards MDE 2.0. Our Founder, Mark Canada, has served as both CEO and Chairman of the Board since MDE’s inception (as well as a legal advisor to many of our members). We are now launching a search for our next CEO, who will focus on implementing our strategic growth initiatives for the next decade while further scaling the organization. Mark will continue his visionary leadership of MDE as our Chairman (while further investing in the legal advisory services we provide members).
We eagerly anticipate who the Lord may have in mind for this next leadership chapter at MDE.
